OUR INNOVATION FUELLING THEIR INSPIRATION

Inspired by Mazda’s history of defying convention, we brought Mazda2 to life with technology.

Using an Oculus Rift headset and a specially designed joystick, we created a virtual reality Mazda2 showroom. Customers could view Mazda2 from every angle, go inside, and even change the colour of the paintwork and trim. It was as close to the real thing as it was possible to get.

We sped up sales

95% of the month’s orders were attributed to dealers who had held preview tour events, and the national press coverage was overwhelmingly positive.

The same technology has since been used to power nationwide tours of the all-new Mazda CX-3 and all-new Mazda MX-5. Accelerating the future of car sales.
